Disclosure of AI use is not required.
Copyright remains with the author.
Responsibility for originality, rights, and attribution rests with the author.
For Editors
Submissions are reviewed using a combination of automated analysis and human editorial judgment.
Automated tools may be used to:
Normalize and anonymize submissions

Assist with triage and ranking
What This Means
We do not take a moral stance on tools.
We do not attempt to distinguish between “human” and “machine” creativity beyond what is necessary for editorial and legal clarity.
We care about whether a piece is intentional, readable, and effective on the page.
Limitations
Automated tools are not perfect.
They are used to support—not replace—editorial judgment. We reserve the right to reject submissions that raise concerns about originality, attribution, or good-faith authorship.
